Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) is a World Health Organization collaborative cross-national survey on adolescent health and well-being. The survey is conducted every fourth or fifth year. The number of participating countries has varied from about 35 to 45 in the period 2001 - 2018. In 2018, about 240,000 children participated in the survey.

Young people were asked on how many days they had drunk alcohol in their lifetime. Response options ranged from never to 30 or more days. Findings presented here show the proportion of young people who have ever drunk alcohol.

The statistics in this matrix have been calculated with microdata from HBSC.
