Percent change in Gross domestic product (GDP) compared to the previous quarter. Chain-linked volumes. Seasonally and calendar adjusted.

Consolidated gross debt, % of GDP

Government gross debt is defined as outstanding liabilities of the general government sector at face value at the end of the quarter in the following categories of liabilities: currency and deposits, debt securities and loans. Data are consolidated.

The indicator is expressed as a percentage of GDP (rolling four quarter sum of quarterly GDP). Data are neither seasonally nor calendar adjusted.

Net borrowing, % of GDP

Government surplus/deficit is defined as general government net lending (+) / borrowing (-) according to the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010).

Employment rate, %

Employed persons expressed as a percentage of the population. Employed persons are defined as all persons who worked at least one hour for pay or profit during a reference week or were temporarily absent from such work. Age class: 20-64 years. NEET rate, %

Young people neither in employment nor in education and training (NEET rate), reflects the percentage of young individuals aged 15-29 years who is not employed and not involved in further education or training. Data are seasonally adjusted and not calendar adjusted.
